Broadway – Brewery Review By Tastydrips
Microbreweries have surely carved out a niche in the hearts of all beer lovers across the city. Tucked in the bylanes of Jubilee Hills, Broadway is yet another microbrewery, that serves one of the best freshly brewed beer. At a sprawling huge composition, Broadway is a massive space that can seat close to 350 people at a time. In terms of design and set up, it’s got that distinctive rustic feel with wooden walls and stacks of firewood. The main appeal here is the 56 foot-long bar stuck to one corner. The stairs direct you to a balcony area, on the first floor, which is more of an amphitheater-like seating. The outdoor seating comprises of low lying wooden tables to enjoy the food and beer under the cool shade of trees. The stage set up for live shows is above the entrance, and one can get a good view of it from any segment of seating.
Coming to the food, this microbrewery specializes in serving Continental, Indian and Chinese cuisines and each dish is specially curated by their expert chefs and is sure to tantalize your taste buds and makes you crave for more. In fact, I was rather surprised to see their menu; it’s huge.
We had an extensive array of appetizers, in which my picks are Chole Bhature Bombs, Malai Broccoli, which is the best Broccoli dish I ever had, as it was very creamy; Coriander Chicken, super colorful in looks and flavourful in taste.; Naan Pe Tang, tender and juicy chicken paired up with Naan; Bheja Fry with Pav, super delicious; Fish Fingers were very addictive, Prawns Olivetti was well presented, and a must-try for seafood lovers.
King Prawns were grilled to perfection, but the huge setback was the outer part. It would taste great if they remove it. Butter Garlic Prawns tasted little bland.
Next were the Chicken Tikka Pizza and Paneer Tikka Pizza, trust me, they are the best. Slight flaky pizza topped with an interesting play of ingredients to make it more flavourful. Don’t miss them!! In Chinese, we had Veg Soft Noodles and Egg Soft Noodles. Another delectable dishes, which I can’t afford to miss.
Kolhapuri Chicken Combo and Mutter Paneer Combo: I would call them the stars of the dinner. They were paired with Roti, Rice, and papad to make it a wholesome meal. Both the gravies were rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious.
Desserts here were perfectly made with utmost perfection. My picks are the Gooey Chocolate cake and Blue Berry Cheesecake.!
I tried almost all the mocktails, which were super refreshing.
Served with some finger-licking food and exquisite ambiance, and some exceptional music playing in the background, this place surely promises a fun time.
